Plan Description
 
With country-Craftsman and rustic flair, this Shingle-style luxury home exudes an understated elegance. Suggestive of its forbearers, which were primarily vacation cottages, this design features a guest-house-like wing, marked with a large Palladian window. Flanking the opposite side of the home, a three-car garage with workshop and storage space balances the façade. It connects with the living areas via the handy mudroom equipped with bench, service sink and closet. Past a sentinel of double columns on the porch, the front door leads to the main section of the home. Here the living spaces resonate with simplicity and livability. At the front of the home, double doors give the office privacy from the rest of the plan. The dining room resides on the opposite end of the foyer, accompanied by butler’s pantry hosting a wine cellar, culinary pantry and large service counter. Connected by a series of French doors, the kitchen, breakfast room, great room and verandah seamlessly flow together for fair-weather entertaining. These spaces hold special features like the meal-prep island, menu desk, fireplace, built-in media center and access to the nearby wet bar shared with the office. Note the outdoor fireplace, barbeque porch and access to the pool bath, great for all your outdoor gatherings. The guest and master wing are designed for optimum privacy. Topped with a vaulted ceiling, the guest suite boasts double closets, built-ins and a private bath. Your master suite is vaulted too and enjoys a fireplace outdoor access and bank or sunny windows with views of the rear yard.
