Plan Description

Carriage style doors and a front facing gable dress up the exterior of this 3-car garage apartment. With a siding exterior reminiscent of a country barn and carriage style doors, this carriage house plan would complement any country home or farmhouse. Better yet, with its 750 square foot studio on the upper level, it works well as temporary quarters during construction of a permanent home. Later, it would be just right for the in-laws, a college student apartment, nanny quarters or overnight guests. The apartment floor plan features an eat-in kitchen, a spacious family room, a full bath and a bedroom boasting a roomy closet. The laundry facilities are tucked beneath the stairs on the garage level with an optional laundry chute making chores a snap.
