Plans: Multi-Family House Plans
Multi-Family house plans are building structures featuring two or more distinctive living areas separated by walls or floors. Duplexes, townhouses and apartment plans are some examples. Duplex designs are multifamily floor plans consisting of two units built as a single dwelling. The units are built side by side and separated by a firewall or they are stacked and separated by floors. Duplex home plans have the outward character and charm of single-family designs. Villa house plans offer a more upscale version of these two-unit dwellings. Townhouses also offer multiple dwellings and can be two or more units. Sometimes referred to as condo plans, they are generally more stylish and sophisticated than their duplex and triplex cousins and feature one-story or two-story units or a combination of both. Multiplex designs and apartments are composed of more than two units that are either positioned side by side, stacked, or both. All multi-family house plans come in a range of sizes and can be composed of two or more identical units or an array of different floor plans. These buildings are available in a variety of styles including, country, Craftsman, European, Sunbelt and traditional designs. They are created with thoughtful planning and care offering many of the comforts and features found in a single-family house plan. Duplex home plans and Townhouse designs are part of the Multi-Family house plan collection.
